Wendy is a certified nurse midwife with over 24 years of experience.  She provides competent, compassionate care for women throughout their entire life cycle; from prevention of pregnancy through menopause and everything in between.  Wendy offers non-interventive in hospital birthing experiences for low risk women. 

She is knowledgeable in and supportive of nutritional, herbal and other natural remedies for common obstetric and gynecologic issues.  Wendy was certified by AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists) in 2005 and offers sexuality counseling for women and couples with common sexual issues such as decreased libido, desire discrepancy and anorgasmia. 

Wendy enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, yoga and cooking.  She has extensively traveled to 3rd world countries and served in the Peace Corps for three years.  She trained traditional birthing attendants in Tibet and in her free time enjoys spending time at her beach hut in Nicaragua.
